These small sections of Landsat and ASTER images show the effect of spatial resolution on readability of satellite images. The racetrack at the Turfclub (lower left corner) is recognizable in both images. However, Landsat's 30-meter resolution does not delineate the streets and buildings of Georgetown so well as the 15-meter resolution of ASTER.
